Moving forward in Faith: He makes a way!

Last Saturday I didn't think I was going to be able to go to Micronesia for intense survival training skills and team/community building before being sent out into long term missions and then... God kept it open. He is always so faithful and makes a way.
I am now moving forward in faith and do as much as I can possibly do to meet God in what he's doing. I have been meeting with people, writing sponsorship letters to different businesses, and am now officially sponsored by some of my favorite people's (whom I dearly call my ohana and spiritualy family) David and Lisa Myrick's ministry Bridges of Light Ministries. We have discussed it for a long time and finally made it official!
A little background of how I know them: When I went to Hawaii last year as a nanny, I started going to their church. We became close and I was "adopted" into their Ohana (Hawaiian word for family). They have been one of my biggest encouragers and have really helped me to stay focused on what God has called me to. They are the ones I often call or email for clarity on what God is saying to me. They listen to my heart, my dreams, and my thoughts (all of them haha) and to what God is saying about them. They always tell what I need to hear, which is sometimes what I want and sometimes what I don't want! It's always said out of the hugest hearts of love and kindness though, so it's easy to take. David's and Lisa's hearts are also to empower, equip, and send people out to the nations that will make an impact for the Kingdom of God. They believe we are  literally people who bring the kingdom of God to people: Bridges of Light. They are excited to have me be their first Bridge of Light to the indigenous people of Micronesia and then to the Congolese people.
From now on, if you want, all of your donations are tax deductible. 100% of your designated donation goes to this mission. I am still needing quite a bit in funds, but I know God wants me there so I am getting my Yellow Fever shot, a temp job, car washes, etc... Anything and everything helps! You can now go to their website and donate. Also, they will soon have a missions outreach page set up for me that you will be able to read about what my heart is and what the support goes to.
Thank you all so much for supporting me! I must also thank so many of you who have supported me through this: My Mom, Cathleen Conrad, my Dad, Darrell Turnock, The Spirit and the Bride Kingdom Coalition, Cambridge United Methodist Church, The Salvage Yard of Jesus Christ, Substance Church, and so many of my individual friends (not sure if you want to be mentioned or not) that have blessed me beyond measure with prayers, encouragement, and support. Thank you!!!
Love Alicia
