Ok, Ok, so I haven't blogged since I left... FORGIVE ME! One thing I have learned on this trip is that I have some of the BEST friends out there. I have had SO MUCH FUN! From hanging out with Tiffany on her snow day to eating at the BEST dessert restaurant in Denver, AND getting a tour of the next up and coming restaurant Ototo from the executive chef. YEAH, it's been AWESOME. I also saw the Denver Art Museum and two showings that will only be shown in Denver. I couldn't take pictures, but let me tell you it was breathtakingly amazing. If you can look it up it was Threads of Heaven and Xu Beihong. Oh, and the executive chef dude totally opened up to us and I have been able to pray for him and his family.
I realize I haven't talked about Kansas City. It was also an amazing time. I was able to support a friend of mine, help a fellow brother get free from his past, and accept the offer of adoption Jesus gives us. Jesus has been there for me through out this whole trip. I was really stressing about the trip and not working etc... but I had some awesome friends support me and remind me of what I was doing and how God was going to use me, oh and my mom too.
Now, I am in California! I had to be flexible and change my flight plans, which is good because I need to learn how to do that. I am going to be here for a few days and than I will be driving up the coast to Portland! I can't wait to see some of the BEAUTIFUL NATURE that God has created on the way there. Well, I need to get back so I can go see my cousins and friends up in Victorville, CA! YAY!
LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!
Alicia
